July Spotlight: Paleo Picnics | A Clean Tailgate

If we have imparted any information to you, dear readers, we hope it’s this: You can eat clean and still have fun! And, with that, we thought we’d present some ideas for clean tailgate parties.

This is well-worn territory for Cave Girl In The City. She’s put together a list of twenty amazing food fan faves, like spinach bacon artichoke dip; chicken chili; Buffalo cauliflower bites; pineapple bacon poppers; and jalapeño crab dip. Read the whole post, The Best Tailgating Recipes, here.

But you know what? Vegetarians are food fans, too! And vegetarians need clean tailgate food. Good thing there’s this list from my recipes. The post, How to Have a Kick-Ass Vegetarian Tailgate (Yes, It’s Possible), features recipes like vegan queso (not gluten-free, but could be easily adapted); veggie grilled pizza (sub in non-dairy cheese to make vegan); grilled bean & cheese stuffed poblanos (gluten-free and can be made vegan, too); and ultimate unbaked brownies (vegan, gluten-free, and Paleo).

So get out there, get some good [clean] grub, and play ball…or at least have one!
