Olive Oil Vanilla Citrus Cupcakes with Citrus Honey Buttercream
When life (or a windstorm) gives you lemons (and limes, and oranges, and grapefruits) you make gluten and dairy free olive oil vanilla citrus cupcakes topped with citrus honey buttercream and a little lemon zest.
I used some of my favorite Buzzed Honey from our neighborhood hives. If you haven’t had a chance to try their hyper local urban honey made by rescued bees it’s absolutely worth seeking out.
The wind also took out some of the paperwhite bulbs I’d planted in the garden so we tidied them and put them in a vase and the whole house smells like spring arrived early.
