Spring has sprung!

Lots of spring themed cakes went out this week including this 4” three layer Raspberry White Chocolate Cake –  Berry Cake + Raspberry Buttercream + White Chocolate Buttercream + White Chocolate.

Finished with a layer of vanilla bean buttercream colored robin's egg blue with butterfly pea flower and a black cocoa and vanilla speckle.

The nest was made with Banza chickpea linguine lightly blanched in boiling water, mixed with Enjoy Life’s Dark Chocolate Mega Chunks, and formed into nest shapes using two small bowls. The speckled finish couldn’t be easier. Just mix a tablespoon of black cocoa with a teaspoon of very good vanilla and apply by carefully spattering the mix with a small paintbrush. Filled the nest with organic chocolate covered almonds in pastel candy shells. A little gold lustre powder on the eggs and nest to tie it all together. Because, gold lustre is my jam.

Now I’m ready to get my chocolate covered matzo on!
