April Charity Bake: Another Bake for Ukraine
My humble cake raffle last month to benefit World Central Kitchen generated more than $1600 in donations so I'm doing it again this month to benefit Voices of Children.
About Voices of Children
The Voices of Children Foundation has been helping children affected by the war since 2015. Thanks to you, we provide psychological and psychosocial support to children. It helps them overcome the consequences of armed conflict and develop. Today, during the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, we are providing non-stop assistance to affected children and families from all over the country, providing emergency psychological assistance, and assisting in the evacuation process.
Our objective: is that every child who has suffered from the war in Ukraine must get psychological help in time.
Our values: respect to child’s dignity and rights; understanding of the needs of every child to be heard; faith in getting the best results only with the help of partnership and mutual aid.
What we are doing now: We are providing psychological support non-stop. More than 50 psychologists are already working with us. We are helping to evacuate families with children, seeking housing for them, providing them with food and clothing. Please support us so that more children and their families suffering from war receive psychological help and can find shelter. We are working in various villages and towns along the frontline in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. >>

What’s up for grabs? One 6” three layer spring themed cake (similar in style to some you’ve seen shared here) in a flavor of your choice (or mine)!
I’ll select a winner at random on Saturday, April 16 and your cake will be ready for pickup at the CMB Kitchen (Pasadena area) anytime in April with 3-4 days notice.
To Enter The Cake Raffle
To enter the cake raffle simply head to the VOC website linked below and donate $10 or more this week. Send your dated donation receipt to hi@cleanmade.com and you’ll be entered to win. That simple.
If you’d like to special order a cake to benefit Voices of Children or World Central Kitchen in April or May, drop me a note and if I can swing it, I will!

A winner will be selected at random on Saturday, April 16
